Introduction:
As a college student, there are many opportunities to participate in research projects that can help us gain practical experience and improve our knowledge. One such opportunity is the translation project, which involves translating scientific research papers into English. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that influence the translation quality of scientific research papers and propose effective measures to improve the translation process for college students.
Methods:
This study used a mixed-methods approach, which involved analyzing the translation quality of 100 scientific research papers that were translated by college students. The following factors were evaluated: the source language, target language, level of the translator, and the type of research paper. The results of this study will provide valuable insights into the factors that influence the translation quality of scientific research papers and help college students improve their translation skills.
Results:
The results of this study showed that the source language and target language of the research papers were the most important factors influencing the translation quality. The translation of scientific research papers into English is an important skill for college students, as it can help them communicate their ideas effectively with other researchers and increase their visibility in the scientific community. Therefore, it is essential to improve the translation quality of scientific research papers to increase the acceptance and impact of these papers in the scientific world.
